Nat’s Cat is a decodable book that focus on the –at and –ap phonograms. This book actually has a simple plot that
children can enjoy while learning phonic skills.
I reviewed this book too, and I agree that it was nice to have a simple plot line with this one compared to a lot of the other decodable texts.
ReplyDeleteI think that these cute stories about animals becoming friends are perfect for the age of children that are reading them. It helps them to understand relationships and learn word families.
ReplyDeleteI agree, Krista. Any story with animals tends to be a favorite by little kids. I also like that this book has a plot-line compared to other decodable texts.
